The 80 MWp Solar Plant for Powersource First Bulacan Solar Inc. (PFBSI), a Joint Venture between MGEN & Powersource, was completed during the pandemic, with Renesource playing a key role in as the lead Consultant for PFBSI (also known as the Owner’s Engineer).

During the Design Review process, Renesource worked with the EPC company SUMEC Engineering to optimize the design, adhere to the Employer’s Requirements and meet local/international standards. Construction was a challenge due to the pandemic, however Renesource ensured that safety and quality control was of utmost importance.

The Renesource team is proud of the work from the entire construction team that was that done in order to achieve commercial operations.

Mechanical Completion: June 2021

San Idelfonso Alternative Energy Corporation (SIAEC) is the first of two plants we are building with our partners at Cleantech, who are player that punches above its weight in the industry. Foregoing the traditional EPC model, Cleantech took the project construction head on and supplied its own materials, contracted the design and brought in Renesource as part of the construction implementation team.

In our Construction Management and Quality Assurance role, Renesource pushed forward construction despite the challenges of the pandemic. Renesource is proud of our continuing partnership with Cleantech as it continues to blaze its own path forward. In building one of the few merchant plants in the Philippines, SIAEC be selling electricity directly to the spot market and foregoing the traditional power supply agreements (PSA) for many years to come.

First Toledo Solar Energy Corporation (FTSEC) PV Power Plant, as a wholly owned subsidiary of renewable energy company, Citicore Power, Inc. (CPI), is located in Toledo City, Cebu, and at the time of construction was the largest solar power plant on Cebu.

Renesource supplied Engineering Manpower as a subcontractor for the Owner’s Engineering Consultant.
